Which shoe size should I choose?

Children's feet experience everything: running down the street, stomping in the puddles or climbing a tree. That is why it is important that the little ones wear a well-fitting boot.

Children's feet are constantly growing, so it is important to measure them once every 2 to 3 months. A child's feet are still very supple, so the wrong shoe size can cause problems later in life. But how do you measure your little ones' feet and determine the right shoe size?

With the step-by-step plan below, you will have that done in no time. Make sure you have an A4 sheet, a ruler, a pen or pencil and, of course, a pair of children's feet. 😉

  1. Place the A4 sheet on the floor with one of the feet on the paper. It is important that the child is in an upright position. With one hand, you can keep the foot flat on the paper.

  2. Trace the child's foot with a pen or pencil. ✏️ A line at the heel and big toe is also sufficient.

  3. Measure the length between the heel and the big toe. By drawing a line between these two points, you make it easy for yourself.

  4. Do the above points with the other foot as well. It is possible that the length of the feet differs!

  5. To choose the right size, add one centimeter to the measured length, this is the growth space. And voilà, you've got the right size.

  6. Check the size chart below this item and decide what size you need. Note: the centimetres in the table are the inner size of the boot.

  7. Are the centimetres between two measurements? Then choose the largest size.

  8. Every child's foot is different in shape and size. Are you sure you want to know what size you need? Then contact one of our outlets to have the feet measured and to determine and fit the correct size.
